Everyone is welcome, if you have an eye condition or if you care for someone who has, then please feel free to come along and find out how we can assist you.

The meetings are held at the Mill Hill Community Centre, New Chapel Street, Mill Hill, Blackburn, BB2 4DT. Should you want advice or assistance, contact the Society on 01254 698683 or use the contact page on this website.

Macular Support Group

The Macular Support Group joins the coffee morning group and meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at the Mill Hill Community Centre.

The Macular Support Group is co-ordinated by Margaret Yates who can be contacted via this website or on the society’s telephone number (01254) 698683 or by email bdbs.vi.support@btconnect.com

The group was set up to address needs of people who have recently been diagnosed with the Macular condition or people who want support with developing alternative skills that may include IT and audio devices.

The group also benefits from regular updates from the Macular Society where on-going research into the condition is funded.
